The epiphani Slack bot allows you to publish your playbooks in a list of Slack channels of your choice. Once shared, anyone with access to these channels can execute your playbooks, even when you are not available. Now, instead of being bothered to execute repetitive tasks, people can use your automations without any intervention on your part, allowing you to focus on other pertinent tasks.
Note that Epiphani Bot for Slack is a feature available for our SaaS installation only and not available if you have the Playbooks installed in your local environment.
To enable the Slack integration, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Adding Epiphani Bot to the Slack Channel
Click on "Add to Slack" button from the top right side "Setting" drop down menu as shown below
Step 2: Authenticate at Slack
Upon clicking this button, you will be taken to the Slack website for authentication. Make sure you select the right workspace from the top left corner drop-down menu. Select the workspace where you wish to install the bot.
